Abstract


The gender role types between young men and young women that were obtained during this research are presented in this article, gender role type peculiarities assigned by young men and women are compared, differences between perceived maternal and paternal involvement that were pointed by participants of different gender are summarized. Significant correlation between perceived parental involvement and students’ gender role type are discussed. The correlations between students perceived parental involvement, emotional closeness and students’ gender role type are analyzed.
