Abstract


The quality of life in social participation aspect is analyzed in the article. The attention in drowned into the individual’s with disability evaluation of purpose in life in the system of culture and values that person lives in. The attitude is accentuated on personal goals, wishes, standards, and interests. It is emphasized in the article that quite often subjective factors evaluating quality of life differs from objectified factors stressed by others especially in situation of people with disabilities. Quality of life is mostly decided by subjective evaluation of personal situation; therefore, it is meaningful to deepen quality of life researches that barely were analyzed in Lithuania.
